John Warner Yth v Under 13s

After the previous weeks heroics against Watton Youth, the Tigers were looking to put a little run together with a 2nd win on the bounce against a strong John Warner side.

The match between these two earlier in the season had been a tight affair, and certainly the 1st half of this one lived up to that as well. With Bengeo kicking uphill, the Warner keeper was kept busy as the Tigers pushed forward looking for an opener. However, against the run of play the first goal came at the other end, and shorlty after a 2nd followed. From dominating possession and most of the attacking play, the Tigers found themselves 2 - 0 down at half time.

Kicking dowhill in the 2nd half, Bengeo applied pressure from the kick off, and reduced the deficit ealry in the half when Aston scored direct from a corner. The Tigers continued to press, looking for the equaliser, without really troubling the Warner keeper. They were punished for pusj=hing forward when, with a few minutes left, Warner sealed the win with a 3rd goal.
