Under 13 Siberians 5-0 Panshanger Lions

The Tigers were taking on Panshanger in a rearranged fixture. We felt that this was going to be a tough challenge for us today knowing that we have always had close games against the lions. The Tigers got off to a quick start when Christian was put through, tried to take the ball around the keeper, took the ball too far and was unable to put the ball in the net. However soon after this Scholsey put a great ball over the top for Corey to run onto who then slotted the ball home with a great finish. Luke went on to get the second goal with a typical poachers goal to make it 2-0 at half time.
Second half and it took the Tigers a while to get going but man of the match Christian Scales went on to score a fantastic hatrick to win the game 5-0.
There were great performances from George Hale who is looking sharper than ever. Corey who played well on the right. Special mentions to Drew who was playing today with stitches in his lip, we didnt think he would be able to play but he was fantastic. Daniel who limped off in training in the week but also wanted to play for the team. Ben who also nearly didnt play through illness but desperately wanted to play and Taylor who made his debut today who settled into the team straight away.
This really impressed me as it showed the true character of all of the boys who dont want to let the TEAM down. Thanks boys for that. Special mention to Lewis who hurt his shoulder yesterday in rugby who would of played if he could but we wish him well and a speedy recovery.
