Bengeo Tigers FC

The Yellows played away to Potters Bar. With both teams 100 per cent record in the league we always knew that this was going to be a tough match. This proved to be the case as both teams started off quite even and both having good opportunities to go infront. Bengeo opened their account with a good run from man of the match Rob Banks who ran the ball down wide and scored from an acute angle. As the game went on Bengeo were unable to get that all important second goal and were undone by an equalising goal. Which the Bengeo defence were unable to clear their lines. This took us into half time 1-1.

At half time i was asking the boys to show me character as i knew that Potters Bars heads were up and we needed to come back strong at them. This proved the case in the second half, but such is the resolve of the boys the team work that they have been showing, they were all working really hard to keep the opposition out. The boys were rewarded with a break away goal the pass which was put through by Lewis for Rob to go on and score his second and win the game 2-1.

Special mentions to Ben who had another outstanding performance at the back and Rob who covered every blade of grass working tirelessly for the team. Well deserved man of the match. Finally i was very proud of the boys and the way they applied themselves and to see how they are looking up and passing and working as a unit.
