Another good squad of players & four subs on the bench. Bob put all the lads through their paces and commented that he’d seen more supple seventy year olds! Woody was made captain on his birthday; game on ! James Lewis showed off his predatory skills, after a good through ball from Poz,and we were off to a flying start. Dan put away a couple of good passes from Billbo and we went into half time three up. Ware had their chances throughout the game but we rode the storm and continued to display amazing tough but fair tackling (and without gloves on !) The team played some beautiful passing football that was a pleasure to watch and reminded me of being up the Lane (what? Thieves Lane on Sele Farm? - Rob’s comment). A few areas to work on but so proud of the team spirit the lads are showing and much respect to them all ! Who’s up next ? Bring ’em on ! Still unbeaten this decade.
