Bengeo Tigers FC

Our first home tie of the season proved to be a great day for the boys and a real reward for all their hard work so far this year.

Once again they played fantastically well and won the tie overall.  Both teams never stopped running and showed bags of enthusiasm throughout.

The first match was something of a rout with us scoring 10 goals.  Some of the passing was great to see and there is signs again of real progress.   Stand out performer on the day was Alfie Best who scored 7 of our goals!  Our other goals were scored by Luke Ricketts (2) who worked really hard throught and Casey Farell.  Another notable performer was Jonny Underdown who was involved in a lovely move for one of the goals.

The second game was a lot closer and it was obvious this was Brimsdowns stronger side.  Its a real testinment to the boys in the fact that we narrowly lost by 1 goal.  Again, the effort was great to see and all the boys kept running right to the final whistle.  Our 1 goal was scored by Charlie Best and there were some great performances by all, in particular Matthew Day and Jake Genovese who worked fantastically hard throughout the match.
