Bengeo Tigers FC

Another great week for the boys and a worthy draw overall against Broxbourne Borough.

The first match was hard fought and all the lads put in a bundle of effort throughout, only to narrowly lose.  Finley Morgan was fantastic in goal in what proved to be one of 2 great performances by our keepers on the day.  He made a couple of great saves and was calmness personified throughout! 

Other notable performances from Josh Chandler and Jim Bennett who were solid in defence and Matthew Day who was great in the middle of the park.

The second game was also tight but we ran out winners in the end in what was a really enjoyable game to watch.  Sam Jones was our 2nd stand out goalkeeper of the tie and made some equally good saves on a par with Finn!  He saved the best for the second half, making a great save from an (what we thought was harshly)awareded penaltly. 

Thomas Moore was a real rock at the back for us and along with Casey Farrell, defended really well.  Going forward we looked dangerous throughout.  There were great performances from Marley Rowe who scored a hat-trick (one of the goals in particular was great to watch with Jake and Jonny involved), Luke Ricketts (who scored a screamer from distance).
